imo B.Y.O.B aint tht gud a song, i prefer violent pornography and some of the other songs its an ok song... the problem is it isnt great and its way overplayed... personally, i think sad statue and question are probably the two best... violent pornagraphy is an awesome song too... oh, and so is revenga... the cd overall is damn good... they're still sticking to their lyric style they've always had, but they're always trying new stuff without completely abandoning their style... if you dont like this band, you have to at least respect them, besides, they are incredibly talented musicians... and i love darons voice... in a music forum i used to post in, someone made a thread asking for people to tell their top 5 guitar players, bass players, drummers and singers... SOADs guitar player, although strictly backing vocals at the time, made my top 5 singers list... i think he has an awesome voice... im not saying serj doesnt have a good voice too... i cant imaging SOAD without him... he is such a huge part of the band... and some songs just wouldnt sound even close to right if it was any other singer... anyways... ya... Imo question is the best song, and its the song that is the most like their older songs, this whole new mainstream thing they're doing now is ok but i prefered the older heavier style to system in their first 2 albums.

It was mainstream, confused, they sort of lost their sound, they tried doing mainstream propaganda which doesn't work and their switch in vocalists didn't work as well as their previous formation of vocalists which was serj main, darron backup, without Serj doing most of the sining they loose their sound.
It was no-where near as good as the first 3 albums, or at least definatly the first 2which were much MUCH better.

Mainstream = yes Confused = sort of yes Lost their sound = sort of yes but that wasn't completly a bad thing, even though i think they were better before they changed As for mainstream propaganda and switching vocalists i totaly agree with you, you dont get mainstream propaganda it just cant work because people listening to mainstream music dont want to listen to propaganda (well mostly) and as for the vocalists i think that serj did the better job, he got the hits as front man and he gave SOAD a stronger voice. But as i am also dissapointed by their new album i dont think it was as bad as you say, i still like it and still listen to it. Hopefully Hypnotize will be a real explosion, will be a great way to end their carrer.

I agree with you on the fact that its heavier and that its difficult to say whether its better than the first part of the double duo, but its definatly not as good as Toxicity or System Of A Down.
